Job Overview

Akuntha is seeking qualified and experienced professionals for the role of Highly Skilled Fitter (Electrical Works / Electrician). The candidate will be responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and panel upkeep in substation environments. The role demands hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret electrical drawings and cable schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, cable schedules, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues in substation systems efficiently.
• Carry out repair and maintenance work for air conditioners, lighting, and other electrical fixtures.
• Ensure cleaning and up-keeping of all types of panels, maintaining them in vermin-proof condition.
• Support shift engineers and maintenance teams in routine and emergency electrical tasks.
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures during maintenance and repair work.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Electrical or related field
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical works or substation maintenance
• Skill Level: Highly Skilled Fitter / Electrician

Skills & Competencies

• Strong ability to read and understand electrical drawings and cable schedules
• Knowledge of electrical fault identification and resolution in substations
• Proficiency in AC, lighting system repair, and general electrical maintenance
• Familiarity with panel cleaning, safety practices, and vermin-proofing standards
• Ability to work independently and in coordination with technical teams
